Lisa Rushi, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
About

Lisa Rushi

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the CRPO, working with youth, young adults, and adults using an integrative, collaborative approach informed by CBT, mindfulness, IFS-informed practice, and relational therapy. I am committed to ethical practice, ongoing supervision, and client-centered care.

My work is shaped by both professional training and lived experience. I understand how major life transitions, cultural adaptation, caregiving, burnout, and relationship stress can leave us feeling overwhelmed, lonely, and uncertain. I aim to create a calm, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, explore what is happening beneath the surface, and build steadier ways of coping.

Credentials: Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), RPQ, MA, BA. Honours degree in Psychology with specialization in Child Psychology from Trent University; MACP from Yorkville University.

Areas of focus: First Responder support, Life Transitions, Caregiver Relationships, Family Conflict, and Child Therapy.

Lisa also brings over five years of front-line experience working as first responders including throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and understands the unique demands, cumulative stress, and resilience that come with that work.
